Apple Watch Straps: Introduction
The Apple Watch Series 9 is the first product in Apple's lineup to be carbon neutral, and the company is committed to making all of its products carbon neutral by 2030.
Apple Watch Straps: Apple is putting a lot of effort into becoming more environmentally friendly, from drastically lowering the use of plastic to sending supplies abroad. This includes the sunsetting leather wristbands it debuted for its Apple Watch line at the Apple Wanderlust event.
In place of the current leather wristbands, a new “FineWoven” material that is meant to be supple, comfy, and colorful will be used. Apple and Nike will also collaborate on new sports bands made from recycled materials.
Leather iPhone cases are also no longer available, as Apple has declared that it will no longer use leather in its products. The cases will continue to work with Apple’s magnetic wallets, chargers, and other accessories.
The Apple Series 9 will be the company’s first carbon-neutral product, according to Apple’s ultimate goal.

Apple Watch uses FineWoven
The company unveiled a brand-new, eco-friendly accessory during the Apple Watch 9 event for its most expensive smartphones and smartwatches. Apple refers to the new material as FineWoven and calls it a “luxurious and durable microtwill.”
When compared to using leather, it greatly reduces carbon emissions thanks to its 68% post-consumer recycled content. In actuality, Apple will no longer use leather in any of its products in the future.
