Introduction:
YouTube Music: YouTube Music has rolled out a new feature allowing users to create personalized playlist artwork with the help of generative AI. This experimental feature is now available to English-language users in the United States and is expected to expand to more regions and languages in the future.
To use this feature, users start by clicking on their playlist’s default image. They can then choose from various themes like travel, nature, fantasy, and more. These themes offer prompts for customization; for example, under the animal theme, you can select an image of a pug styled like a medieval Gothic painting or a pop art painting.
After making your choices, you can hit the “Create” button, and the AI will generate a selection of images for you to pick from. Once you’ve found one you like, you can save it as your playlist artwork. This feature aims to add a unique touch to your playlists, reflecting your personal style.

YouTube Music: New Features
YouTube Music also has plans to introduce a new feature on the Home tab in the coming months. This feature will allow users to quickly access their recent favorite songs and artists, making it easier to dive back into the music they love. This change aligns YouTube Music’s interface more closely with Spotify’s, which facilitates swift access to recent favorites.
These updates are part of YouTube Music’s efforts to enhance the user experience and offer new functionality. They recently launched “Samples,” a short-form personalized video feed similar to TikTok. Additionally, timed lyrics and a comments section have been added, allowing users to follow along with lyrics on screen and share their thoughts within the app.
