Introduction:

Fire TV Stick Deals for October 2023: Among Amazon’s array of “Amazon Devices,” none are as beloved by our readers as the Fire TV Stick. This tiny dongle has the magical ability to turn any regular TV into a fully functional Fire TV, complete with a wide selection of streaming apps, games, and Amazon’s app store.

Fire TV Stick Deals for October 2023

Currently, there are some incredible deals on Fire TV Sticks that our readers have been eagerly snapping up. You can now get started at just $19.99 for the Fire TV Stick, which is the lowest price we’ve seen since the Prime Big Deal Days event in 2023. The Fire TV Stick 4K is also on sale, albeit with a slightly smaller $5 discount.

However, the most exciting deal is on the 2nd-Gen Fire TV Cube, which essentially combines a Fire TV Stick 4K with an Echo Dot smart speaker. It’s a fantastic way to incorporate an Alexa smart speaker into your living room or other TV spaces without taking up extra room. Right now, it’s available for just $79.99 in Amazon’s Certified Refurbished sale, marking the lowest price this year. We’ve rounded up all the best Fire TV Stick deals for the month, so you can find them all in one place. Upgraded 4K Fire TV Sticks Are on Sale

If you’re willing to invest a bit more, you can opt for Amazon’s 4K models instead of the entry-level Fire TV Sticks. Having personally tested every Fire TV Stick version Amazon has released so far, I wholeheartedly recommend either the Fire TV Stick 4K or, even better, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. By doing so, you’re future-proofing your purchase since these models support 4K and HDR. Furthermore, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max provides a considerably faster user interface.

Fire TV Stick Deals for October 2023

This week’s deals include a modest discount on the Certified Refurbished Fire TV Stick 4K. Among our readers, this is by far the most popular Fire TV Stick model. However, I strongly advise our audience not to take advantage of this deal.

Why, you may ask, should you avoid the regular 4K version?

It’s because Amazon is also offering a deal on a Certified Refurbished Fire TV Stick 4K Max at a price I believe offers much better value. The Fire TVStick 4K Max is a significant upgrade compared to the standard 4K model. The inclusion of Wi-Fi 6 support is fantastic. However, the most noticeable difference is the significantly faster interface of the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. It’s a night-and-day difference compared to other Fire TV Stick models. If you browse Amazon customer reviews for various Fire TV Stick models, you’ll see that interface lag is the most common complaint.

That’s one of the primary reasons. Why the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is such a compelling upgrade!

In fact, the improved interface alone justifies opting for the 4K Max model, in addition to the excellent features like Wi-Fi 6 and HDR support. On the other hand, if you’re seeking deals on brand-new 4K Fire Sticks, your only option this week is a 10% discount on the Fire TV Stick 4K. However, it’s not a particularly great deal, so I recommend waiting for a better sale.

Amazon’s current deals provide the lowest prices of the year on Amazon’s premium Fire TV Stick streaming dongles. Fire TV Stick Deals on Entry-Level Models Amazon has featured other Fire TV Stick sales in 2023, including one as recently as last month.

However, as I pointed out in my coverage of that sale, the deals were not as impressive as previous Fire TV Stick deals.

Today, there’s a much better selection of Fire TV Stick deals available on Amazon. Prices start at $22.99 for a Certified Refurbished Fire TV Stick Lite, which typically retails for $25. This model is quite popular due to its low cost, but there are two key limitations you should be aware of before making a purchase. First, the Fire TV Stick Lite only supports resolutions up to 1080p FHD.

This means you won’t be able to watch 4K content at its full resolution. Second, this model includes the Alexa Voice Remote Lite, which lacks extra buttons for controlling your TV. If you want to upgrade to the standard model, you’re in luck because it’s currently Amazon’s most heavily discounted model this week.

The new, standard Fire TV Stick is on sale for $19.99, down from its regular price of $40. This model is also limited to 1080p, but it comes with the full Alexa Voice Remote, which many users prefer. Considering that this model costs less brand new than the Lite model in refurbished condition, it’s definitely the superior option right now. Last but certainly not least, we have the 2nd-generation Fire TV Cube.

As I mentioned earlier, it’s essentially a Fire TV Stick 4K combined with an Echo Dot. It’s the best of both worlds and retails for $100 when there’s a newer version available. Occasionally, it does go on sale, and Amazon has just lowered the price to $79.99 for a Certified Refurbished model. That’s the lowest price ever for the previous-generation version.

Also, Amazon has some fantastic Echo Dot deals that you should definitely check out as well.

Why I Recommend Amazon Fire TV Sticks Some people who have never used a Fire TV Stick might wonder why they’re so popular.

After all, virtually every TV available today, from budget options to premium models from renowned brands like Sony, LG, and Samsung, includes a built-in smart TV platform.

To understand “Why do Fire TV Sticks continue to be recommended?

It’s important to recognize that Amazon’s Fire TV platform surpasses proprietary smart TV platforms in several ways. One significant advantage is the superior and more user-friendly Fire TV user interface when compared to proprietary platforms. For example, I own an LG OLED TV, but the WebOS smart TV platform is far from user-friendly.

Another key reason for favoring Fire TV Sticks over built-in smart TV platforms is app support. You can find nearly any app you can imagine in Amazon’s app store, ranging from streaming apps to games and more.

In contrast, by using the smart TV features that come preinstalled on your TV, you’ll be limited to a significantly smaller selection of apps. In my home, I primarily use Apple TVs. However, this is mainly because I own numerous other Apple devices and appreciate the seamless integration across my laptop, desktop, tablet, smartphone, and TV. Additionally, I have access to many of the same apps, which is a major advantage. However, the one drawback to Apple TV is its cost.

Even when on sale with a discount, the Apple TV 4K is considerably more expensive than other streaming devices from brands like Roku and Amazon. Consequently, I use Apple TV on my primary TVs and Fire TV Sticks on the others. The beauty of a Fire TV Stick is that it’s an affordable little device that remains discreetly hidden behind your TV. Nevertheless, it instantly expands the capabilities of any TV it’s connected to.
